Local Groups : Gypsy & Traveller links
This website is dedicated to self help groups who have formed their own groups, rather than others forming a group for them. This includes those forums that work closely with agencies and wish to remain so doing without formally constituting if they so wish.
The National Federation is funded to help strengthen groups under a two year program started towards the end of 2008 Annual Review 2008-2009
Work program
- Capacity build groups by assistance with funding /development plans
- Capacity build groups by providing information on the PQASSO quality mark
- Capacity build groups by helping to obtain places at conferences
- Capacity build groups by sharing good practice
- Encourage fair elections.
