We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Officer to lead a mapping of Roma migrants in England and provide an office support role. European Dialogue is a human rights charity based in London, with over 17 years experience of working both in the UK and mainland Europe. We have been funded by the EU, OSCE, DfID and the FCO for projects supporting inority rights – in particular anti-discrimination work with Roma, Gypsy and Traveller communities.
As Project Officer you will be responsible for designing, implementing and successfully concluding a mapping research into European Roma migrants living in England, including production of project reports. You will also share the daily office management and administrative tasks with the ED Programme Development Officer. You will work for 28 hours per week between 9am and 6pm (Hours can be worked flexibly by agreement) Monday to Friday. You will be based in the ED office in Bethnal Green, London.

Cultural awareness and inclusive education training - early years Gypsy/Roma and Traveller children
Over the last 6 months this training scheme has been delivered by Save the Children.
We felt that Gypsy and Traveller people should be involved in the scheme and 12 sessions so far have been delivered by Gypsy and Irish Travellers with Kelly Griffiths of Save the children It has been a very successful scheme and has given many community members confidence to do more we hope that some of them will join up to get accredited with the UD course.
